and airplanes
four leaf clovers and other lucky charms
and i wish that i could wish and it would matter

i wish that you could see the looming danger that's waiting in the dark
but you choose to close your eyes
and wish upon your own stars
wishing that things this time would be different
but lets be honest
it won't be
i wish that would make you wish differently
but that's asking too much of the stars
